GoKids Boston also serves as an on-campus ‘lab’ for a variety of UMass students. Many students from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences as well as from other parts of the University that have become involved at GoKids in a variety of functions including:
- research assistants
- interns
- as part of classes
- as part of independent study credit hours
- work study
- volunteers
- All students who would like to work at GoKids must complete the “GoCert”, a certification process that certifies students to be competent in running/using equipment, understanding policies and procedures, and accurately taking various assessments on children. Students cannot work at GoKids with children unless they have completed and passed the GoCert written and practical exams.
- Students must be immunized and have completed CORI forms.
- *CPR not necessary for most students. Please see GoKids staff with any questions*
- Students must also complete the online student registration.
